She recognized him the moment he came out of the elevator, but she tried not to show it. He didn't need to know she'd studied his face, his file and information all in preparation for the work she was doing for the Order. This should just be a casual meeting of the minds after work. She slightly half jumped as he finally approached, painting a shy, warm smile on her lovely younger features. She even managed to raise a bit of a blush on her cheeks.
"Yes, yes... Though, Victoria is quite fine, or Vic, if you like." Not Vickie. That was almost as bad as 'Dora'. She offered her small hand in his direction and, if he permitted, gave a good, pumping shake of his hand. She had a definitely good hand shake, the sort that generally spoke of someone who did good business without shame and with respect. Other than the fact her pulse was beating a hummingbird rhythm, she seemed charismatic and rather confident. "Mm... a mystery? Now you do know how to intrigue a woman, you know that? And the law has been..." She shrugged quietly, "Mostly quiet, fortunately. I think most of the trouble makers are finally learning their bloody lesson."
She motioned towards the doors. "Well, shall we? Somewhere quiet, preferably. Intimate. I prefer to talk to my companion, not yell at them, you know?"
