Who: Alecto Carrow and Verity Fitzpatrick When: August 31, Evening Where: Rabastan Lestrange's residence Rating: Moderate-ish Warning: Potential violence and language Summary: Alecto teaches Verity a lesson
Alecto never quite lost her impulsive streak, but age it seems, had calmed her down. She did not forget the slight, nor did her anger dissipate after a week. She would have come sooner, but finding the insolent slave and getting permission to deal with said girl was more work that she had anticipated. Admittedly, she did drag her feet a little, wishing to spend her fortieth birthday with her lover, rather than spending it in someone else's house, teaching someone else's slave a lesson. But the lesson was necessary; this girl could not be allowed to continue. All the slaves and fiancees complaining over those blasted books were getting on Alecto's nerves. Something needed to be done, and if this girl was smart, she'd keep her mouth shut from here on out.
Finally arriving on the Lestrange's front step, Alecto was shown in by a house elf who brought her directly to the girl's room. Without preamble, Alecto entered and shut the door behind her.
"Told you I wouldn't forget," she said as a smug grin crept across her face.
