Who: Katie Bell and Tavish Urquhart
When: Late Thursday Night (Nov 11)
Where: Craigston Castle
Rating: Medium.
Warnings: Language.
Summary: Tavish visits and Katie deals with her captivity.
Katie sat on the bed, staring at the same walls she'd been staring at for very nearly a week. There were a few books scattered on a desk to the side, some writings and drawings that she'd done to keep herself occupied. She'd taken plenty of hot baths, eaten good food, but when it all came down to it...
This room was a cell all the same. Posh, lovely, and intensely personal, but a cell. She'd tried to leave once, but she couldn't. There was a chimney, but no floo powder. She didn't have a journal, didn't have a wand. Alicia and Charlie probably thought her dead by now, or captured. Or worse, thought that she'd betrayed them.
She unraveled a thread from a hole in the sweater she was wearing. Tavish had brought her clothing, nice clothing, but in the one time he'd visited her, he'd failed to remember her wand or a journal. She had no way of talking to anyone, no way of leaving. She'd promised to stay, but only if it was her choice. This wasn't her choice.
She loved him, but Merlin bless, she had to tell her friends that she was alive. Alright. She had obligations, the same as he. Stretching out on the bed, she stared at the ceiling, listless. She hadn't been eating as much as she should have been, but she had no appetite when she was nervous.
Hearing movement that wasn't Yellow, since she was quiet enough to startle most of the time, Katie pushed up and looked, her face drawn and serious as she sat up. "I thought...that maybe you were just going to forget me here."
