Minerva McGonagall finally located the trio by talking to some of the portraits. When he walked in, she was a bit bemused they had transfigured the furniture to make a bed, complete with curtains. He glanced at the amused looking Dumbledore in his portrait before shaking her head and drawing the curtains aside.
She stared down for a minute at the three young people - Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley and Harry Potter. They were dirty, bruised, and cut. And they still looked to very young. She would have preferred to leave them to sleep.
Finally, she sighed and then cleared her throat. "Mr. Potter, Miss Granger, and Mr. Weasley," she said in her crisp voice.
