What: Arwen is looking for a place to start an orphanage.
When: Afternoon
Where: 5th level of Minas Tirith
Rating/Status: On-going.

She had not been in the city long, and the time she had spent was mostly focused on the grand wedding of the King of Gondor and Arnor and the coronation of Queen Arwen Evenstar. However, just because her thoughts had been focused on the celebration ahead, Arwen was not ignorant to the plight of the rest of the city. She could not ignore the pain and suffering that surrounded her, despite the hope and joy from winning the war. Many lives had been lost to achieve peace.

She had gone to the Houses of Healing to observe the healers at work and to see if there was anything she could do to help. It was there that she learned that many children were not only homeless, but parentless - their fathers' blood had been fundamental to the victory of Men. It bothered her. More and more, she could not release the childrens' feelings of emptiness - an emptiness that she could empathize with. And so after spending a morning planning, she headed out into the city.

The uppermost and 6th levels would not work, of course not. But she liked the idea of putting a home for orphaned children on the 5th level. It was close to the Houses of Healing and yet apart so that the children could have a home and not just live in beds. People bowed their heads in respect as she passed, but she made a point to make eye contact. She did not want the people to fear her as her grandmother was often feared. She had chosen to be one of them and did not want to be considered beyond them.
