She sighed, figuring she'd have to fight her case a bit more. That wouldn't be too bad, she figured. It's not like they needed to be pregnant right away. She just wanted him to know that she wanted a baby and if it had to be with anyone in the world, she was glad it was with him. After all they had been through, good and bad, she thought this was the best way to settle down. Marriage may have had its ups and downs, but it was supposed to. Having a child may be able to neutralize the arguments while they both had something to focus on other than work and each other.
And to have one thing be so dependent on you had to be a good feeling. She depended on Harry just to be there and be a good husband, just as he was doing, but to have someone depend fully on her for everything would have been something special for her. But if he wanted to wait, if he really wanted to wait, she'd wait with him.
Hearing what he said, her heart skipped a beat as she almost excitedly smiled. "Harry, you'd never be able to mess up. You're already a perfect husband, and I know you'll be a perfect father. I just know it. We're a team and we can do this," she said with a smile, as if it were really about to happen.
