As a matter of fact, neither of Cassius' siblings were home. He and his brother made it an unspoken rule to not spend more than one hour a day together. His sister despite jokes of staying around and sharing a bottle with Adrian, had gone out with her friends and wouldn't return until the morning. Furthermore, Cassius had sent Minky away. A precaution to protect his eardrums and, probably even his conscious. The last thing he needed was to ruin her a good mood with him, for finally listening to her and inviting a someone over to socialize, by allowing her to see the contents Adrian was bringing. It would be weeks of wailing about how she'd somehow 'steered him wrong' and 'failed all Warringtons'. He loved Minky and generally he sat through her wails, getting the sense that she needed to give them just in the same pervse sense that a mother simply had to lecture her child; however, he simply wasn't in the mood.
Tonight was a night to enjoy himself. No work. No siblings. No house elves. And for once it didn't involve a good Merlot and some jazz, and him contemplating-against his conscious will-how lonely he was.
Walking down the foyer, a small grin quirked his lips when he heard Adrian's yell. Cassius didn't speed his steps. Taking a slight amusement in letting him wait. One had to recieve ones kicks somehow, afterall. When Cassius opened the door it was with a barely noticeable quirk of his brow and a knowing smirk, "Never learned the meaning of patience yet, Pucey?"
