Despite having heard the sound before he didn't think he'd ever quite get used to it. He always had to fight not to rush when he heard it. It made his blood race and he was sure it would always cause such an effect. It was safe to say that he'd never really considered doing anything of this sort with anyone, but Daphne seemed to draw things out of him that he didn't know were there. If she could do that then perhaps this whole parenting thing wouldn't be so bad. He would have her beside him, after all.
Harry continued to tease her, his hands holding her in place firmly and, yet at the same time, carefully. While hearing her beg was a rather nice thought, he didn't need it. She didn't need to say anything for Harry to read her. Her movements told him all he needed to know.
He'd missed her over the past two weeks. Her absence had effected him far more then he thought possible. It had only been two weeks, which in retrospect wasn't really that long. He'd grown used to having her around, but what bothered him the most was the silence. He slept far better when he could hear her soft breathing beside him.
