Even with a kid, two dogs, a cat, an owl and an Adrian, Harry would never be replaced. Naturally, if Daphne heard that come from him, she'd be heart broken, but she'd let him have his fears silently. He didn't have to be ready for it, he just had to know that eventually, it would happen, although until then, he would still be the number one most important thing in her life. Even after that point, he was her husband and no matter what, she'd love him and devote herself to him unconditionally. He knew that.
If Harry wanted to please her, all he had to do was hold her. He could have done the stupidest things in the world and as long as she was in his arms, she didn't care. That was what would have pleased her. Being held by her husband was the utmost best thing in the world to her. And it was so important that she had that closeness with him. At least that way, she knew they would last forever.
She didn't pull away, but the second he put his hands on her hips and his tongue found that certain spot, Daphne certainly moaned, her hips lifting off the counter just a tad at that joyous feeling. Merlin, she wanted to beg him for more, but he knew he needed to give it to her.
