To be honest Daphne didn't really know what to think. First off, she didn't like dogs that much. Big dogs, yes. Her family had a St. Bernard, but little dogs like the one that constantly thought it had to be carried around, no. She was much more of a cat person or maybe even a bird person. Hell, a fish person, even. Still, she watched it and tried to lie to herself and say it wasn't cute. But it was so fuzzy!
"It looks like a ... gorilla or a bear. Not a dog," she said dryly, stepping away from it and back to the sink where she would wash her hands thoroughly to get the slobber and desert off her hands. When she was done, she dried them off again and turned to her husband, looking at him, not impressed, but slightly amused. "You can keep it," she said with a shrug, now turning to the freezer to get her pumpkin ice cream.
Once she had it, she shut the door, grabbed a spoon and hoisted herself up on the kitchen counter, rather than kissing her husband like she normally did. Right now, the ice cream was important, but if he wanted his proper greeting, he'd come after it. "What's its name?" she questioned through a mouthful of ice cream.
