When Daphne finished dishing it out perfectly and making their little desert presentable, she washed her hands quickly in the sink and dried them off, listening to him speak, though she was only half paying attention as she put the rest of the food back in the fridge. She hadn't even bothered to look over at him, she really was quite occupied with what she was doing, which didn't happen very often
Taking both dishes, she turned around, planning on finally greeting Harry and giving him his little welcome home present, though as soon as she looked in his general direction she saw the fuzzy black pile of fur sniffing around her house. A shriek was given as she jumped and dropped both dishes of their desert. No, she wasn't scared of it, she just figured he was talking to a person and not a -- "Is that a gorilla?" she asked bending down to clean up the mess.
So much for desert! It didn't matter as she looked up from the pile of broken glass and creamy food, she saw just how cute the gorilla ... bear-like dog was. "What the hell, Harry. Where did you find it?" she asked, tossing the mess and holding out her hand which had aftermath of food on it for the dog to lick off. Once it reached her hand, she looked at it, a little less shocked and more ... well, no. She was still slightly shocked.
