Eventually this whole evening would be washed away and forgotten about, but it seemed every other time they were together, something bad or awkward happened. He knew she loved him and she knew that he knew that, but there were times when Daphne felt she couldn't tell him or show him enough just how much she cared about him. It was the byproduct of the two of them that would prove that eventually, though the more she thought of it, as long as they both knew that they loved each other, that was all that mattered.
When he said she didn't need to prove anything to him, just tell him, she sighed. Maybe she should tell the truth about the baby. "I want a baby, Harry. Not now, but when you think you're ready is when I want to have one, but not a second sooner. Just promise me that when you think you're ready to be the father that I know you can be, you'll tell me?" Daphne didn't care if she had to wait weeks or months, just as long as he'd eventually come to her and say something knowing hat she'd be ready to listen.
"And don't ever worry about me leaving you again. You're the love of my life and I'll never leave you."
