Harry sighed, returning her kiss. "I missed you too, Daphne." he admitted, his arms moving to lightly rest back around her waist. Try as he might to ignore the gap between them, it was still there. It was strange. He wasn't mad or upset. For lack of a better word, he was simply lost. His head was full of far to many questions without answers and a lot of those question he had to answer.
"You haven't ruined anything," he said softly, his hand trailing soothingly up and down her back. "You're home now, right? We have all the time in the world to be together." Something about having her prove that she missed him made him frown slightly. "You don't have to prove anything to me, love. You just have to tell me."
Neither responses were probably the ones she wanted to hear, Harry had a habit of disappointing her in that regard it seemed, but at least this time he had managed to string a sentence together.
