Daphne nearly died when she saw Harry's expression. That was not what she wanted, though it did tell her that he definitely wasn't ready, regardless of how badly she wanted a child. That was fine. The healer said she still had another several years before she'd be out of her prime. It was just Daphne's personal wants and desires that caused her to think they needed to get pregnant right away.
Her hand rested on his face as he looked like he was about to pass out. Daphne frowned, though gave him a horribly worried look when all he said was 'sorry.' He didn't know the whole thing which was good. Well, for him, not for her so much.
"I went to see a healer today when I got back and had a third test done. I'm not pregnant," she said quietly and just about as reassuringly as she could without causing herself to break down over the confusion of a faulty test. Daphne gave him a soothing smile as she rested her head against his and closed her eyes, hoping the disappointment wasn't so apparent to him.
"Don't worry," she began quietly, "you're not a father yet."
