Mr Minister,

We, the undersigned as citizens of your Ministry, petition the Ministry for the revocation of the Marriage legislation currently in effect. We understand the intention behind the laws, however, it is unfair, unethical and cruel to subject your citizens to this sort of treatment. It is one thing to force us to marry, it is one thing to force us to live together but it is an entire different matter when you feel that, in this day and age, you can dictate who we give our bodies to. This is a sincere and peaceful plea that you find it in yourself to see the wrong done by this legislation and that your citizens want to have faith in you again.
