Kris had hurried home after work to change into more casual clothes before he left for the Shamrock. He had discovered the pub on a night out and since then he liked to go there. It put him at ease and he figured that tonight he really had to be at ease. Starting with how everything about an arranged marriage was wrong to the confusion the situation caused, it all unsettled him and made him even more restless than normal. Sitting down at a table in the corner where he could watch the entrance Kris ordered a Guiness, fingers thrumming nervously on the wood of the table. After a few seconds he gave in and pulled out a packet of Memphis, lightening one of the cigarettes and inhaling the smoke, letting it calm his nerves as he waited.
