Ginny's lips curved upward of their own accord. "Well, of course there are some universal definitions of simple." Ginny shook her head at him, chuckling a few airy laughs. "Gimme a break. You know what I meant." Sure, Ginny can think of multitudes of things that were simple when she was younger that are still simple now. In all its complexity - the yard of the Burrow always seemed simple to her. Grass, flowers, pigs, and gnomes. Completely simple. This was simple. Conversation had always been simple for Ginny, even when it was to be a very meaningful conversation.
Ginny sighed, pulling her hair out of its ponytail and allowing it to fall against her back and into her face a bit. She had just gotten back from work - even the tie that had been holding her hair back seemed restraining after hours in between shelves. However, she had continued to watch Harry's movements, even without looking directly at him. She could tell when he was thinking and it was always clear when he was happy. She could tell he wasn't happy, but was a fair bit better than when he had walked in.
When Harry spoke, Ginny did look directly at him, but had her gaze pulled away in her own momentary thought. Of course, she had very little to think of. She had been told this a few times in her life. Her response was usually similar each time. "I figure that's what I'm supposed to do." Ginny's smile tugged at her lips as she looked at Harry. "I could tell you what you want to hear." She took in a breath. "Oh, Harry Potter, you're amazing. Let me fawn over you and your unmanageable hair and your occasional ability to be too effing nice." Ginny feigned a fawning voice and become suddenly animated, holding her hand over her heart. Within seconds, however, she was back to her normal relaxed state, her voice it's normal octave, despite her impending smirk. "And you're already off your rocker, I thought we've discussed this." This, also, was one of her usual responses.
