In his own silent way, George had been dreading the day when he would have to meet Mandy. It wasn't that he thought he wouldn't like her, he normally liked anyone so long as they weren't bloody idiots, which he supposed was a large majority of people now a days, but still. He figured he'd like her well enough. Perhaps not enough to like the idea of marrying her, but enough to at least give it a chance. No, liking her wasn't the issue.

He'd taken as long as he could with closing up, before starting the slow trudge over to the Three Broomsticks. He didn't want to have another person in his life. Particularly one that would be as close to him as a wife. He'd grown accustomed to having Fred with him only to have that ripped away from him. He'd be damned if he fell into that trap again. Personally, all he wanted to do was continue to run WWW, visit his family, and live in peace...apparently that was too much to ask for. What made it worse was that he couldn't aim his dislike at Mandy, she was just as much of a victim as he was, which meant he could do nothing with his anger except bit down on it.

Sighing, he gave one last glance back to his shop before stepping into the The Three Broomsticks to await Mandy's arrival.
