Citizens, please do not think that I have failed to notice this rash of kidnappings. I assure you, starting today, I shall not rest until we unmask whoever is behind this abominable crime wave and seen to it that justice has been met.
Should anyone wish to join me, of course, all they need do is let me know. I will be at the scene of the first abduction. Most of the night, I should think. Should anyone wish to know, I mean. |

Dear oh dear, this place just never gains life, does it? Terribly dull. Doesn't help that we're in quite a peaceful timeframe.
Not even the slightest time dislocation or tiniest alien invasion... this is hardly a fitting place for a man of my calibre. |

The world shakes and the winds blow all around. Variance in meteorology, I do believe they call it. Earthquakes. Tsunamis. Tornadoes in the Southeast of America, then up further, and now they are destroying Texas and Oklahoma. Calypso is displeased, or perhaps Poseidon has issued some form of control over her.
I wonder what dearest Amphitrite would be doing, now that her seas are full of waste and her husband's horses' leak acid.
The Rapture was nonsense. Now he says it was spiritual, not factual. October 21, he says, will be the end of the world.
Odd, though, that two of my family are among us...odder still, to think that the deities that frequent amongst us wouldn't happen to hear nary a word towards the destruction of all the earth.
What does this "prophet" know? Nothing. As she who was third in line to proceed over the Oracle at Delphi, I feel rather insulted. |

Ah, Christmastime. A good time to get out of tedious work, and always a fond favourite of mine.
Can't quite remember if December 2010 was peaceful or not, but... suppose it won't harm me if it isn't. I could do with a little adventure.
Earth may be my favourite planet, but it's dull. |

This universe has a sense of humour! I was drawn out of my own trial and thrown into the defence of another wrongly-accused individual... I could almost call it poetic.
I do wish they'd stop calling my sanity into question. Can't a man wear such a glorious coat without someone casting aspersions on his mental state? |
