The strangest part about this holiday is the use of Saint Valentine. An unknown Roman martyr could perhaps be a heavy handed metaphor for the mysteries of romance, but that seems unlikely at best. |

It's almost my second favorite holiday. (In case you're wondering what the first is, it's Easter.)
If you want a Valentine's baby, let me know. If not, really let me know, I tend to lose track. |

You wouldn't think so, but it actually gets boring here sometimes.
Would anyone like to go to a film with me or something? It seems like there's not much out though. Hm. Any ideas? |

Who knew that models would be so annoying. This was supposed to be my dream job. |

I really need to learn how to make New Years resolutions I can keep. |

I know the holidays are stressful for most people, so I'm offering half price massages. Let me know if you need anything, I'm also adept at reflexology. |

Apparently.. it's my birthday.
Technically this makes me 31. I think? Something like that. Shit.
I'm going to go drink. Anyone want to buy the birthday girl a drink or a lap dance? |

It's already Christmastime? I always lose track since I live where it's always warm. Maybe I'll string up some lights. |

[Dec. 7th, 2011|01:44 am] |
Christmas is doing my frickin head in.
Anyone want to join me like going somewhere with music that's NOT jingle bells? With lots and lots of booze.
And sex. I want sex. I'm not picky. |

I'm going to go out dancing. I've been moping too long in my flat. If anyone wants to come out with me, feel free. |

What year is it? |

I might go to the beach tomorrow; as much as I love my city, I do like the water as well. Perhaps Brazil again, or maybe Costa Rica. I think my pets might want some time alone. I have no idea why, but they don't like to copulate nearly as much if I'm around. |

Is anyone receiving this? |

I got tired of being so far away from civilization. I'm back in London for the time being.
Astarte, my love, I have no idea how you manage without going stir-crazy for city life. |

It's official; I'm retired yet again.
It was perfect timing, having been brought here, I must confess. Khaos always has a plan, the father-mother truly does.
I've visited California for a few days, and I've taken up residence in London at the moment in a small hotel, which is quite charming. I'd like to know if anyone resides in London and wouldn't mind a guest for a little while.
Oh, heck! After London, does anyone have suggestions for where to travel next? I've hardly been outside the romantic countries and some parts of America and Iceland before, I do need to start traveling more. I have enough to pay rent, and I'm very good in the kitchen. I'm quite handy with sewing as well, and I can clean a house top to bottom in two days, tops. Anyone who'd like to show me around here and there is also welcome.
I remember having an invite to Uruk, and to parts of France from very pleasant beings, so where would you recommend after those? London, I would say, then Uruk to get out of Europe for some time, and then back to France...what's the newest places of culture a woman ought to visit? Any offers and suggestions are most appreciated, lovelies! |

Honestly!
I'm currently staying inside a castle shaped like a dragon. The security seem to be fond of gimp masks. They sign up to die for the band. Fans are so fanatical they will commit suicide if an album isn't dropped on time. The cook makes strange noises, but he's quite pleasant, I've found. And he knows how to make a killer breakfast. But there's also strange appearances of blood, and I stepped in some without realizing it.
But the beauty, it's beyond your dreams. The art is fantastic. The music, still, it's not my taste, but there is wonderful harmony being played at the moment (I swear there's three sets of drums, one trying to plea for rain, one summoning minotaurs, and one with a drummer hyped on those damn energy drinks and trying to get over it). This place is, well, completely ungodly in every form and fashion for someone like me, but here I am.
And you know what? Judge not lest ye be judged is possibly the most intellectual thing Jesus ever said. Of course, he then went on to tell the Sanhedrin that they were not of Abraham, but of the devil, and they goaded him and goaded so much so he called them out as devil-worshipers, and had to hide from being stoned...so make of that what you will.
In other news, returning to work early Wednesday morning. Why didn't anyone tell me about portkeys? I was handed a manky old boot and given no more information. I nearly...sicked up all over a terrifying fauna tyrannosaurus rex. This place is like Edward Scissorhands on Elm Street, honestly. A little warning would have been most appreciated!
Ah, but I complain in my old age. How fares the general populous? There are so many of you I have not spoken to, I fear I make myself too unapproachable most times. |

I suppose thanks are in order. Brother, I do not know what I would have done without your help.
Teja, I offer you a thousand apologies and know that they are still not enough. How are you getting on? |

Bloody hell. Before anyone even starts to be concerned, I'm fine. Thankfully, miss Astarte kept me from going out of the temple the entire week, so there are no casualties due to that brief madness. My sincere apologies.

Restoring Uruk and sending me here will be repaid in your skull becoming a VERY NICE CANDLE HOLDER. |

A show of hands for those of us who remember who Saint Valentine was.
Yes, I doubt many of you actually raised your hands, much less deserved to.
In any case, I shall be holding a feast in the Roman tradition of honoring the martyred and forgotten men who brought the wisdom taught to them into Rome and outlying countries. By that, I mean I'll be footing the bill at [restaurant] in London, 20:00 UTC. All are welcome to come by, whether they be in need of fraternisation, or simply to watch a gathering of angels empty the kitchens. |

I hate January and February. Too much time until spring, and no holidays to break up the monotony. I'd give anything for some sun. (Yes, I know I could travel, but my obligations have been keeping me primarily in London and the States.) |

Been a while, hasn't it, lovelies? Well, settle ye down, all ye the misplaced and relocated! Ol' Liam is back to woo you once more with fantastic and fascinatin' stories of the Underhill like.
Actually, no, not true. Isn't really much diff'rent than it's been, Underhill.
So how's it up top? |

Apparently this is not my home, and Vishnu is nowhere to be found in his corporeal form. However, I have acquired a seat on the board of directors of a major bank based in Dubai. For now, I believe this can be managed.
However, I would like to know if there is anyone in this plane I am familiar with. I am Lakshmi, goddess of grace, wealth and beauty. |

Anyone mind telling me what's going on? |

I swear, if another stupid cultist or angsty teenager summons me again and asks what the meaning of life is, I'm going to snap.
There's only one cure for this, and that is shoe shopping. |

Although I'm tempted to stay at home until the crazy starts to fade... I bet there are a lot of confused people out there.
But I really don't want to be a chick again, because that one time at Halloween was... disturbing. And piratey.
Do I try to help, or do I just hide in here with my guitar until it passes?
Decisions, decisions... |

Still feels kinda strange being in this form. But at least I still have my abilities intact. Perhaps I should call myself Delia instead of Damien during this. So.. for guys, or anyone turned into guys. Who wants to have some wild fun? I think it would be quite the fun ride.
It already is now, but might even more so with the aid of another. Plus I'm curious about testing this new body out while I can. My manor door will be unlocked. So are any hot guys out there interested in giving this one a go? ;) |

Thanksgiving was quite enjoyable. I must thank my staff who prepared it. Ahh, but now I am bored. I should change that immediately. Perhaps I will go to the bar I went to a few months ago. They had good drinks. If anyone would like to join me, I will pay for it. |

I had a soul explode on me today. Not the body, I've had that happen a lot. No. The soul went boom.
Needless to say, I don't have THAT happen often!
So now I'm letting the lesser reapers do my job while I eat truffles. |

What's all this, then? I know it doesn't seem like I'm ever very busy, but I was doing something before I was rudely brought here. |
