Right. Apparently I've figured this out enough to leave a message for you all. My name is Sebastian Vael. Apparently I am the Prince of Monaco in this world, but those who come from Thedas know me as a Chantry brother. Or possibly the Prince of Starkhaven. The Maker appears to be testing me by bringing me here, though I know I'm not alone.

Today is my birthday! Party at my place. BBQ too. Everyone is invited. Adriel, Ty, Kyle, Zev, Oliver, Corinth, and all their friends and family... everyone I know, and even some that I don't. All are welcome to come. It starts tonight at 6pm. Ohh, and Ty. Might need you for the entertainment. Dance, streamers, ribbons, something flashy and talented.

And after the kids and others leave? I'd like to offer a proposition. I offer that we find a very, very fun and hot way to help me celebrate it. Clothing optional. Preferably with it off. The world shakes and the winds blow all around. Variance in meteorology, I do believe they call it. Earthquakes. Tsunamis. Tornadoes in the Southeast of America, then up further, and now they are destroying Texas and Oklahoma. Calypso is displeased, or perhaps Poseidon has issued some form of control over her.
I wonder what dearest Amphitrite would be doing, now that her seas are full of waste and her husband's horses' leak acid.
The Rapture was nonsense. Now he says it was spiritual, not factual. October 21, he says, will be the end of the world.
Odd, though, that two of my family are among us...odder still, to think that the deities that frequent amongst us wouldn't happen to hear nary a word towards the destruction of all the earth.
What does this "prophet" know? Nothing. As she who was third in line to proceed over the Oracle at Delphi, I feel rather insulted. |

Don't really have much going on for the week.. but I do have plans. Several of them. One, I know for a fact that my supervisor of the company, of whom I am his VP, is planning to surprise me. I'll just pretend to be surprised when the time comes. Secondly.. it's going to be my birthday next month. It's a while away, but thought I'd mention it in advance anyway for any who'd want to come then.
It will be on June 6th. I'd prefer it also be hosted at 6am (the exact hour I was born), but I know that's a bit too early for some folks. So it will be in the afternoon instead. There might even be a BBQ too. I also have an indoor and outdoor pool as well. It might be open. Usually is anyway, since I've let people come use it before.
Also... well, it's summer. I vote for other parties too. My mansion is big enough for them. My pools or hot tub may be used then too. Specifically, I was thinking of something on the Fourth of July. I know, I live in London here. But I've also spent time in America. I like freedom. And celebrations. And, fireworks! Oh yes. There will be some of that. Though mostly, I'm looking forward to my birthday and a few of the other party ideas. |

Well, damn. Flemeth is gone. She was really nice, both as a woman and a dragon. She made great dinners too. But at least I was able to help her with something important she needed assistance with, even left her a gift before she left.. wherever she went to or whatever happened.
I know there's some other people I knew here that are gone too. Good friends. Some who had been here almost as long as I have. Sometimes this place sucks. I think I need to go out. Do something. Just.. drink or something. Anything. |

I come from the same world as him, and apparently there's someone called Morrigan here who's from Thedas as well (I think I might have seen you once in Denerim?) I used to be a pirate, commanding the Siren's Call, but as I have neither hands nor a ship, I probably need work. My papers say I'm some sort of Chantry Mother, some kind of religious figure, which is too delicious for words, but roleplaying does get old. I'm skilled with a pair of daggers, but I'm told you all use something called guns, primarily.
At any rate, I popped into someplace called Louisiana, so that's where I am right now. Anyone need a skilled hand or a good time, you can call on me.

Honestly!
I'm currently staying inside a castle shaped like a dragon. The security seem to be fond of gimp masks. They sign up to die for the band. Fans are so fanatical they will commit suicide if an album isn't dropped on time. The cook makes strange noises, but he's quite pleasant, I've found. And he knows how to make a killer breakfast. But there's also strange appearances of blood, and I stepped in some without realizing it.
But the beauty, it's beyond your dreams. The art is fantastic. The music, still, it's not my taste, but there is wonderful harmony being played at the moment (I swear there's three sets of drums, one trying to plea for rain, one summoning minotaurs, and one with a drummer hyped on those damn energy drinks and trying to get over it). This place is, well, completely ungodly in every form and fashion for someone like me, but here I am.
And you know what? Judge not lest ye be judged is possibly the most intellectual thing Jesus ever said. Of course, he then went on to tell the Sanhedrin that they were not of Abraham, but of the devil, and they goaded him and goaded so much so he called them out as devil-worshipers, and had to hide from being stoned...so make of that what you will.
In other news, returning to work early Wednesday morning. Why didn't anyone tell me about portkeys? I was handed a manky old boot and given no more information. I nearly...sicked up all over a terrifying fauna tyrannosaurus rex. This place is like Edward Scissorhands on Elm Street, honestly. A little warning would have been most appreciated!
Ah, but I complain in my old age. How fares the general populous? There are so many of you I have not spoken to, I fear I make myself too unapproachable most times. |

It's been a while, so I thought I'd let you all know that the dear captain and I are still out and about, if not incredibly active. if any of you lot need anything from either of us, feel free to pop by or give us a shout. Just because we aren't talkative does not necessitate that we are not keeping a watchful eye on our lot.
But as always, if it weren't for a reason, I wouldn't be posting.
The captain, Aggie and myself would like to extend an invite to an open house. If you've ever wished to simply be more social, or meet people of a fascinating and bizarre nature, this would be the time and place. A buffet of most generous proportions will be there, as well as possible live music by whoever bothers bringing their instrument of choice.
The day's Saturday, the time's 1pm until question mark, and the place is our island home on Tortuga. [Directions from portkey].

Oh YES, it feels so good to be back. I'm sorry I forgot everyone that I had met here.. which is quite a number of people, but I'd forgotten all that fun happy memory since I was different than my usual self. A year or two. Gone. I even forgot my own kid! So Jakob, I'm really sorry but it'll be better. It's all back now in my mind. So, I remember everything and everyone once more. So it's all good.
But guess what needs to happen now that I'm back? Go on, guess. I think we all know what Damien does after wackiness happens. PARTY! Or at least having one to three people over. I have video games, great food, waterbeds, a hot tub, indoor pool, a big screen HD TV, basically anything a guy can imagine owning if money is never an issue. So.. yeah. I'm going to plan another party at Thorn Manor. But first? I guess a good pub crawl is in order too. And since we have portkeys, I can go to any one of them over the globe, but either Stockholm or London will be the place to start. |
