Young is a state of mind, one that I grew out of a long time ago. But I like that you have faith in people. It's refreshing to not be confronted with more cynicism.

Doing what's right is one of the highest fundamental values in any society. Unfortunately, ours - or at least, mine - has a graying mentality on what constitutes "right". Especially when it comes to justice.

I think people willingly blind themselves, but Justice is never invisible, nor out of view, if one is willing to see it. Every society faces that test... and sad it is, but true, that most fail it.

And believe me, I know. I spent a good portion of my life working for justice. I think I was lucky if two out of three cases got a conviction.

I suppose I could. But I've done a lot of changing in the past couple years. It might be nice to stick with something for a while.

Yes and no.

On the one hand, I am still a student, but on the other hand, I dropped into the life of a business owner and am trying to manage that with a little help from a pro management team.

It's a little jarring, but... I like it.

Well, we were together before the ... tornado thing. Last I heard she was stuck with the FBI in Quantico. Of course, knowing Shan, she very well could have busted her way out of there and be halfway across the world by now.
