So, um, I have NO IDEA how to pick out a wedding dress, mostly 'cause I don't really wear anything that's not casual. Or intended to be worn around fingerpaints and Play-Doh (which smells SO GOOD I would wear it as perfume).

Anybody want to help me pick one out? Katya, we could go together! Toki, you could... get candy! OR A MALL PRETZEL.

Hey, guess what!

And I'll go poke Toki and tell him he's got a message. It's surprising he's still asleep. Well, it was a long night with Cass - Toki did a lot of the work! He even sang him to sleep!

Oh.

My.

Goodness.

You are my new best friend and I'm totally getting like, six bottles you want one? And awwwww, baby! How is it? Still cute?

Hee!
I could totally go for a bottle of that, Bren would love it, I'm sure. I don't usually do the whole cologne thing, I kinda stink like all men do.

Yeah! He's got the whole rolling-over thing down, and has now moved on from tugging daddy's hair to stealing daddy's bracelets, which is admittedly less painful.

I don't know, just-got-out-of-the-shower-boy is the best smell ever. OH HEY. They have crayon! Or dirt! Those are Manly, right?

Eeee, rolling over! It's just a hop skip and a jump to crawling!

Crayon! That's me all over! And oh, I don't know, the smell of strawberry rhubarb pie kinda takes place over Fresh Man Scent.

I know! I'm really excited for that. He wants to get on the move all on his own, he gets kinda frustrated by not being able to. It's equal parts adorable and pout-inducing.

I poked Toki. He threw a stuffed duck at me.

Done and done! And I don't really know how to cook, and it probably depends on how hungry I am. I can't really eat Alec, and when I'm hungry, pizza is so so so good.

Awwww! And wait until they get to kindergarten age. I cried when my last class moved onto first grade. Summer's kind of boring!

... hee. I don't have to go now, or even today if he's still sleepy.

Well hey, I can cook! And I can teach other people how to cook, as well! I'm teaching my brother to make things other than eggs and weird Russian food that even I find revolting.

Aw! Don't worry. Right now, as we speak, a new batch of kids is playing and getting out all their summertime wiggles just so they can be your class come September.

Okay, he's just kind of trying to sleep away all the weird that's come over people recently, that's why he's here and not home.

What kind of weird food? I'm still figuring out all the different kinds of food there are to eat. I figured I'd start with the basic things that you can buy at stores and then get fancy.

Awww, but wiggles are good! I make them wiggle with me. Dance time is really kind of important. It tuckers 'em out right before naptime.

Yeah, I'm glad that it didn't get me and Alec. We would've been upset.

I dunno, you'd have to ask him what it's all called. It all turns out waaaay too ick for me to even look at. As for me, I do lots of stuff. Mostly the simple stuff. Salad, pasta, stuff like that. I grill out a lot.

Summer wiggles are completely different from school wiggles. Hooray for dance-time, we have that here at home.

Toki got hit with it. At least he made a new friend but I think it's more the fact that one of the other guys is seeing someone and it's weirding him out.

I like pasta a lot. Whenever Alec and I eat out, I'm pretty sure that's what I get every time.

Oh? There's so much about kids I don't know because I don't see them before or after the ages where I'm with them. But I do know that age pretty well.

Well, friends are good, right? And oh? Do they not... date? I mean, I didn't before, but that's because I was the size of a small bird.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]poetbrennan

Yeah, at least the way I remember it, summer wiggles were all about running around on the beach and picking up sticks and sword fighting with them and never about learning. School wiggles were productive.

Well, they do, it's just weird for the other guy to actually stay focused on one woman for more time than it takes to get her into bed. My personal opinion of it is that the guy deserves a break and a romance. He's edging up on old age here. Toki disagrees and is kind of jealous, mostly because he hasn't found a girl here yet.

So hey, kids up, I gotta run. I'll see you soon!

The Tinkerbell sense. You know. Clapping for belief in faries, near-death experiences, don't go into the light, Carol Anne! Defending boys with no shadows. Wings and pixie dust. That sort of thing.

You ought to read the book. I think you'd enjoy it. When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.
