Finals are pure evil. I've got two weeks until my exams, and it's EATING MY BRAIN.

Luckily, my lovely lady friend sent me a few things to keep my mind from collapsing in on itself. Thanks Che.

Sorry Dean, can't make it to your party - I'd love to but well... People suck.

Hey, no worries man. I can kick your ass at this whenever.

Yeah you probably can. I suck at pong for chrissakes.

I will, however, kick your ass at pool. I let Che win, you know.

Dunno, though. Figure you'll like this game. Pushing buttons in time with music is easier.

... yeah, you probably got me beat on the pool thing if you beat Kitten. But hell. I'll get any money back in darts, though.

We'll see about that.

As soon as school's out. One more month, man.

And this is why I never went.

... that and I was working.

Well, I figure once I have some piece of paper that tells other people I'm better than them at something, they'll finally believe me that I am.

I'm usually not one to tout the positives of formal education but it's a lot easier to find something worthwhile to do once you've got letters at the back of your name.

Eh, I liked the job I had before well enough. And hell, I don't really need one now. If I get bored, maybe I'll get a job restoring old cars or something.

But yeah, you want to do... collegey crap, so that makes sense.

If anything, I'll probably drop out after this. I have a whole summer to think about it.

Man, do you know anything about... No wait, nevermind, you probably wouldn't. I'll ask Sam next time I see him floating around the board here. I need some help with this weird ass paper I've got to write on 17th century English authors.

No, I'm just desperate. I'd ask anyone. I thought twice about asking you - you'd probably do the same thing as I would and make some shit up.

Hang in there, Hyde. Finals are just your way to prove that, yes, you were paying attention all semester and no, you weren't sleeping in the back of class most of the time.

Thanks for the vote of confidence there.

Know anything about 17th century English authors?

Anytime.

Hm. What do you need to know, or specifically WHO do you need to know about?

John Milton. He's the Paradise Lost guy.

Right...umm....

Well, you know Paradise Lost is an epic poem, right? And that Milton was considered a heretic for his religious beliefs. His peers and critics thought the way he wrote his prose was artificial. He was also highly opposed to censorship. The guy buried two wives and had four daughters.

Hm...Beyond that, I'm tapped out. My...well, Jess could've helped you out more. She was way into this stuff.

Yeah, most of that stuff is why I chose him instead of someone else, actually.

Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure Miniver will be all over this shit, he tends to know goddamn everything I ever need for English Lit.

Naked.

With a doobie and a beer.
