Dude, you can't play Romeo too over the top. It's not possible. People think, oh, Romeo was such a romantic dude, this was a great piece of theatre, the Gweatest Wub Stowy of Aww Time, but no. Romeo was a pussy, and that was the point. You don't want to be Leonardo DiCaprio faced with the promise of Clare Danes' tits, you want to be Michael Jackson faced with a small boy. The lamer you are, the better the Romeo.

Yeah, I read this thing through and I really don't get why everyone goes on about it being such a romantic story. It's about hate and lust. Romeo and Juliet were just stupid over dramatic teenagers. Not that I can say too much after some of the shit I've done.

Not even sure I even wanna be in a play, though. Totally was not thinking I'd actually make call backs. Don't know if I should back out or go for it. Lame Romeo does sound fun.
