So...yeah.

Thanks to everyone who sent thoughts, prayers, teddy bears. (Thank you, Edward, for my bear. He's perfect company, here.) My brother brought me my laptop to keep me occupied while I rehydrate my internal organs.

I'd like to say I was the victim of some horrible poisoning, some evil plot to take my life. But no, this was alllllll me. Uh huh. That snack I had, right before bed? The leftover sushi? That's what got me. One of the worst cases of food poisoning that Dr. Cuddy's seen in a long time. Go me.

Anyway, I'm laid up, in the hospital. Nothing to do. Feel free to say hi, or something.

Expect my father-in-law over with a bunch of cookies pretty soon. He said he's good at cheering up hospital-people. I'm... pretty sketched out by hospitals, myself. I'd be over there, otherwise.

How you feeling? Bren and I have been pretty worried.

I feel alright, kinda achy and stuff. Don't worry, I hate hospitals too. If my warden brother weren't here, Id've snuck out already.

Yeah, those post-food poisoning aches will get you hard.

I once ate a pudding cup that wound up being moldy at the bottom a couple years ago, and was sick in bed for a week. I will NEVER forget the ache in my neck and spine from that. I was miserable. My sympathies.

Maybe Toki can talk Dean into letting you out for some fresh air at least. He's deceptively good at negotiation. It's kinda scary.

Ugh.

I'm going on the Dean diet when I get out of here and food looke appealing. This would mean that everything's been fried to an inch of its life and there's nothing raw around except maybe the lettuce on his cheeseburger.
