Well, it's better than Beckett, I suppose. Never did much care for him, myself, but that's because the man was after our heads, and not in a very pleasant way. But he was a man of honor, and he was strong-willed, so I can imagine Norrington was a good man, when he wasn't chasing down pirates.
And yes - I'm sure he'll tell you all about it, at great length, if you ask. Jack's rather proud of me, I feel. Rather proud of you in our world as well, you managed to stay out of the whole pirating business. You also managed to live for as long as we have, without the need for vampirism or curses. You HATED it, mind - but well, legends never die. Had quite a name for yourself in the smithing industry.
