It's actually family advice? Kind of. Things with my dad are a little more complicated than I thought, and I'm not good with boundaries. (I know, shocker, right?)

You don't have a Avenger/ex-Avenger parent so I thought you might have a good perspective.

Yeah. I didn't actually mean to break the news, but my dad guessed and then it turned into a game of 'who's going to tell your mother' chicken. I lost. She was really cool about it and they're bizarrely adorable together, so I think it's going to work out.

Uh. I don't really know where to start with this. Before he knew who I was, I got him to tell me why he was worried the Avengers might come after him. He said that he'd killed Steve's dad. And I mean, there were reasons for why he did it and clearly Mr. Coulson's fine now, but I don't really know what to do with that. I love my dad. I don't know Mr. Coulson well, but I like Steve, and it's all really weird and confusing.

(...thanks, but the way. I know this is, like, crazy soap-opera drama.)

Other world. And I think what bothers me is that I can forgive him so easily: he says he was forced into doing someone else's dirty-work through magic, I mean, I can buy it. But is that because it's rational, or because I want to find a way to excuse him?

And geez, I just keep bantering with people like it's no big deal. Steve. Uncle Clint. I have feelings and I'm no good with those.
