I've been spending most of my time here in Korea, and to see the preparations for the Lunar New Year festival has been really neat. It's called Seol-nal (설날), and people are buying the traditional rice cakes and I see little children in hanboks everywhere. I like seeing it.
Apparently it's mostly about honoring your ancestors and celebrating your family ... Jae-sun, 연인, does your family do this, or since your father's Japanese do you not bother? Cause I may be trying to make 떡국.
