A.) It was Calypso. I was as much a victim to Davy Jones' error as the crew. The extreme allegiance to the ship and the slow insanity, was however entirely me.
B.) I am not delicate. I have more strength in my 'light and delicate' arms as most men have in their whole bodies and I can very well hold my rum.
Besides, I believe that as a ship my main appeal other than the fact that I was clearly the fastest and best combat ship on the sea was the idea of death. For some reason, you humans are fascinated and yet terrified of death. And now as a human, I hold mortals fascination not by my connection with Death but by the beauty I've been granted here.
