Lotsa stuff, and it seems like whenever I talk to Shawn about it, he kind of takes it. . personally. And. .I don't need that right now.

Guess I can do this issue at a time.

There's this boy. Reese. He's kind of sort of my boyfriend, I guess. I mean, we haven't seen each other in a while and when we met. .we got pretty physical. Not all the way physical, but. .yeah. I mean, I like him a lot. I've never gone all the way and I think. .well maybe I'd wanna go that far with him.

But he's a lot older than me, depending on what state we're in the laws differ as to whether we can do that kind of thing, so we haven't. And to add on to it, Shawn has been half against it from the start, which I get. He says he's fine with me seeing him, but sometimes he throws out these warnings. Like, the 'he's only after one thing' warnings. Only not quite worded that way.

I don't know. I guess I just want to make sure if. .we do, I wont regret it for the rest of my life. AndI figured you'd be the best perso to ask. Plus. . you're a girl. I don't really have any older female influnces in my life.

Sorry there's so much to this.

Tess, if you really love this boy and you think he's worthy of being your first, age doesn't really matter. You're not 15 honey. You know your own mind.

What Shawn doesn't know won't hurt him. You have to think of him like a parent. You listen to what they ask, obey the rules as best you can, but don't tell them all the details that they don't need to know. There are some things in a girl's life that deserve to be private. I doubt he'd want all the details of his romantic life broadcast over the internet either.

Someone has to be the first, Tesla. The only thing you can do is make sure that you both care about each other enough to respect that sex is a big step, and that it's special. Especially the first time.

And only you will really know if you're ready. I'll always be here if you want to talk, sweetie.
