	Life's too short Dad, everyone is an asshole in one way or another. He's being stubborn, I'll pout him into coming and he'll see it's not so bad and be fine. And my gentleman friend is coming along. Look, Charlie. We need to talk this out. I'm pissed at you, you lied to me. You kept my daughter from me, and I'm okay with that, but you kept her father from her. And I understand why you thought you had to do it, but it wasn't really your choice to make. So, I'm pissed, but it doesn't change the fact you're still like a brother to me. And if I don't reach out to you, sooner or later, you're gonna be gone, and that's not fair to Chelsea either.

I'm sure he's a great kid, and I'm sure Harley will be happy to meet him. Think of it this way; imagine how nervous your dad was about you meeting his boyfriendish type and how well it worked out. And if he makes a fuss, I can easily point out how great you were about meeting me.
