You should get your dad to distract your mom again. I miss you! I really want to see you.

A lot of my friends from home have shown up. I kind of want to sneak you away from home and introduce you to people.

I'll see what I can do. It's not exactly like I can tell him "hey, I want to sneak out to be with this incredible elf girl. Distract mother for me."

I might actually be in-control enough to leave the woods, for a little while. None of these people will go 'argh, dragon' and attempt to do bad things, right?

Well, there's Stefan, but I think if I yell at him enough he'll be good.

Only if you want to, though. I don't mind visiting you in the woods. The woods are fun. My friends can wait.

If he isn't, he's going in the nearest lake. I'm a mean person, sometimes.

It's about time I got out a little more. The woods are nice and all, but they also have the risk of mother finding out and trying to set everything on fire.

There are probably more swimming pools than lakes in our area, but same basic idea.

Can we have a nice dinner first, just the two of us? And then meet friends afterward? I promise I'll get you home before you turn into a pumpkin.

Swimming pools work too. It's just a matter of teaching him that being nice to the Old God is a good idea.

I'd like that. Then again, I like any time I spend with you... I'm easily satisfied like that.
