	Not nearly as awkward as it was with hooves. Or as a rat. I had to jump on the keys. So everything turned out with double or triple letters. I gave up on that one. At least the beak is precise. Makes sense. Beak is probably easiest. Unless you have a monkey form.

That's not exactly my specialty.. Wish I could, but it's not something I've ever come across before. A Servitor of Jordi might be able to help you out (If you could convince him there was a reason anyone would prefer to be a human over an animal..) but I haven't seen any of those guys around here.

Sorry, none of that means anything to you, does it? I guess now that I don't have to keep this stuff secret, I go overboard with the sharing.

Religion, hmm. The main one is the Chantry. The idea is that the Maker created the world. First the Fade, the dream world, inhabited by spirits and demons, then later our world, inhabited by...well, life. But when mankind sought to go the to home of the Maker himself, the Golden City, he cursed the city and them and turned his back on them. Eventually the prophet Andraste tried to persuade him to return, and he agreed on the condition that everyone repent, renounce any false gods, and follow his commandments.

This is the very short version, of course. My mentor would've taken a week to tell you all the details, but you probably don't need them. And personally, I don't believe in it. I don't really understand the point. But that's the general idea.

	Well.. I guess angels are sort of like servants of the Maker.. Not like Andraste.. I'm guessing Andraste was a human prophet? Angel's aren't human. We're like holy beings that follow God's (or the Maker's) will, and try to spread peace and.. good... stuff. There are different types of angels that do different things. 	Andraste was human originally, yes, but ostensibly after her death (or during, it's debated) she was taken up by the Maker and made into his bride. Religion is strange. Anyway, I don't think we have any equivalent of angels, but I get the general idea. ...but does that mean there actually is a Maker? I mean, that you've met him or it? Sorry, I don't mean to be cold, but...where I come from, it's part of the main religious text that the Maker hates all mages. All of us. I mentioned that the Maker turned his back on mankind; that's the fault of mages originally, apparently, and so anyone with magic is imprisoned or killed or has their soul destroyed through a rite known as Tranquility. I always thought it was just people making excuses for taking action against things that frighten them, but if it's true, and your God is like our Maker, I'm not sure we'd get along very well.

	Nothing like that's going to happen here. It's true, people find excuses to hate what they don't understand, and God's word has been twisted by humans. And how can anyone tell what's God's word, and what's the version people have twisted? How do you know which is which? ...well, all right, you probably do know. But anyone else?

If you're right, I'm glad, though I don't know that it endears me any more towards this God. But I can't help but be skeptical. And even then, there are so many different sets of beliefs. Back home there was the Maker, the Old Gods, the Creators the Dalish worshipped...here I've heard bits and pieces about different ones, too. Which one is real, or are all of them, or some, or none?

I'm sorry. I really don't mean to offend you, or insult your beliefs. It's one reason I don't usually discuss this topic. But none of it feels logical or good to me.

	Dar, it isn't my beliefs, it's what I am. I've seen both sides. I know what demonic perversion looks like, and I know what God's grace looks like. Trust me, it's completely different. I do believe you, for what it's worth. And I think I'm arguing more about the place in the middle, where the human muddling gets involved. Though I'm not sure what you mean by God's grace. The Maker doesn't interfere, for good or ill, he laid down his rules and then left in a fury, and then mankind's spent centuries trying to court him back, and I'm not sure why. But I shouldn't blame your God for what the Maker did or what people have done in his name, especially when I don't even know that they're the same being.
