I think this has all gotten a little out of hand. Alistair and I are friends, and we'll be working together shortly, and I would rather avoid having comments being made about dating and all. I'm married. Who knows if either of my husbands might show up. I don't want to lead Alistair on. He's a very nice man and I don't want to hurt him.

I certainly understand, Aveline, and it's why I've tried to keep my nose out of all of this. However, if I might offer a suggestion, please make certain your gentleman friend knows this. I can't speak for all men, but some of us do tend to assume things which aren't there. Make it certain where you stand. It might hurt, but better a little hurt in the present than being crushed in the future.

No, it really isn't. I had...someone complicated, back in Thedas. It was over, or rather it wasn't going to happen, and we'd had this horrible argument, and I didn't get to tell him goodbye or apologize before the vortex happened. It was all about a year ago so I've mostly moved on, but I wish I could have talked to him one more time to tell him how sorry I was. Having things unresolved is the worst part.
