I need some help from a person who knows a bit more than I do about the laws in this world.

What are the legal things that happen when you get married? Like, my mate told me if you're married, you get to visit them in hospital with no questions asked. What other things are like that? Where I come from, wives were basically property, but I'm told that's not true here.

Thedas? I see. No, I understand perfectly where you're from, I um... happen to know of your world through a set of games. It's extremely ass backwards, I agree. You'll be happy to know that here, men and women are fairly much equal. There are still certain inequalities that are being balanced out, work place woes and whatever, but for the most part, you won't see women being treated like property in the civilized parts of the world.

And coming from someone whose family's majority is strong, free-spirited, often-terrifying women, I would go so far as to say that anyone who underestimates a woman has never met one.
