Bloody hell. Before anyone even starts to be concerned, I'm fine. Thankfully, miss Astarte kept me from going out of the temple the entire week, so there are no casualties due to that brief madness. My sincere apologies.

[Ariel:] Right, I'm going to simply ignore what happened to you. There are more important, disturbing things to be discussed.

My memories have been returning to me, from when I was him. And that's not all of it. If I ever seem... particularly similar to how I was, if I revert back in any way, I want you to know, it's unintentional and most definitely unwanted. I've been... having trouble keeping what fragments of the devil still exist at bay. I'm looking into ways of ridding myself of him entirely, but it will almost certainly have its cost. I would rather be without a single memory of the time as him than have him in my mind, influencing me.

	The less said about what happened to me, the better. I'll not be leaving Iku's side for a week at least, however. I understand what you are saying, and please remember, I have several of your memories, should it ever become necessary to call them up. If I can be of assistance, you know I will. And I will be spending that week with Astarte. She is truly a grace, to put up with me in times of darkness.

I told only you this, and I hope you keep it between us. I do not wish to alarm my brothers. If I need your assistance, I will let you know at the earliest possible moment. There is nothing I wish more than to wipe his marks from all of reality, but the possibility of returning to that is still looming. I utterly refuse to let that happen. It sickens me to think that I could still be so dark.
