No, I'm not going to hunt her down. Whatever she needs, she won't get it by being hunted down and babysat by me or anyone else. She told us she was going. She didn't just run off. She wants to be alone and I'll respect that.

There's no reason to blame yourself, Cassidy. She made her own decisions. She's probably better at all of us put together at picking up the pieces. That much I believe of her.

Not so rash as you might think. She didn't just up and go. She spent a good week or so setting things in order. And she told us all... I don't think it was so much a rash decision as it was her not knowing what else to do and resorting to her roots, so to speak.

And you... you make me very nervous but I'll have to trust you and Teague and Sadako all know what you're doing and try not to think about it too hard until you're back...

Me... I'm okay. I'm sorta taking care of something which really... feels pretty good. Like I'm useful again.

Even I don't trust me on this, which is why I'm staying alive long enough to see to it that I'm alive before I die. ... That made more sense in my head. In any case, I'd rather stay in this useless bullshit body than risk dying and leaving any of you behind to rue my death like I was some sort of... something. I don't know.

Once you're done with fixing whatever it is you're fixing, you want to come hang out with me? I'm sopping wet after spending time with my favorite muse, but I could use the company. I'll feed you dinner!

And this thing I'm doing... well, it's going to take a while. I mean it's actually um... sort of an intervention. See there's this guy called Kitt... I'm taking him to Sable's shop. Me and April and Palm are gonna look after him for a while. I can't leave. It's just something I gotta do, you know?

This Sunday, the other me will be born and it'll take a week to regrow to my actual age. Think about it this way - It's like what Teja did, without the demons and dying suddenly and unexpectedly thing. I'm going nowhere. I won't remember any of this in two weeks, because that body isn't this one, and won't have my memories from this week because it wasn't encoded into it.

Augh, Kitt, the guy my dad was bitching at me about two days ago? Don't bring that guy to dad's house, he'll slug the guy. And I know how it goes. Just good luck with him. And I think you're strong enough for it. You've been strong for the better part of a year.
