Well. Erm. This isn't Bellerophon.

This computer is antique, and I can't reach any of the ship's addresses.

I'd like to know who the hell is holding me here, and where the hell my sister is.

I'm guessing you're from the future. (Wow, I've been here too long if I jump to 'future' before thinking you landed in an old computer shop or something.)

Anyway, I don't think anyone is holding us here. Not that I've heard of, anyway. Here's a website that sort of explains it. [Link]. Sorry about your eyes, in advance.

Ouch.

And I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I mean, what's the alternative explanation? That I'm in the ancient era? Earth doesn't even exist anymore, so I have to assume that someone has either taken me or the crew is playing an extremely complex practical joke.

Quite frankly, I don't think Captain Reynolds has the brain for this, so I'm going to go with being held prisoner.

Wow, you're really from the future. I was thinking like twenty years, but.. Well, hopefully the Earth will still exist in twenty years.

It's 2010. And I'm 99% sure this is Earth. I'm kind of an expert, seeing as how I've lived here my whole life.

I guess there are a couple conspiracy theories out there about who's behind all this, but the general consensus is a resounding "I dunno." Aside from not really having access to interstellar travel, you're not a prisoner. Unless you are. I mean, some people wake up in weird places.

Sorry, I think I'm rambling. I'm Alexis, by the way.

In the ... world ... I know, Earth was used up centuries ago. As soon as we developed the technology to terraform new planets, it basically became necessary. If you're correct, then I'm at least five hundred years in my past.

My name is Simon. I could even handle the whole "ancient world" thing if my sister was here, but she doesn't seem to be, and I'm not too proud to admit I'm feeling a little light-headed. River needs me.

Wow. Five hundred years? That's..wow. So are all the new planets named after Greek heroes, or just the cool ones?

I'm sorry, Simon.. I wish I could help, but I haven't seen her. She might show up, though?

Well spotted, darling. Read [THIS] to understand where you are. Careful, it's bright.

You definitely don't look Alliance. This is impressive.

I am taking it that looking Alliance is bad?

Allow me to add my voice to those who have expressed that you were brought to an alternate reality by a temporal disturbance.

I'm beginning to be convinced ... but I mean, how is it possible? What manner of science has achieved this? I worked at some of the most advanced medacads on the core planets and never saw anything like ... like time travel.

I'm not entirely certain. I've been conducting my own research, and found nothing in regard to the vortex that brought you.

Time travel's easy, though. I've been doing that since I was ten.

Where the hell am I? And what world are you from where you've been doing this since age ten? You have to allow me a little leeway here. I'm used to a ramshackle Firefly class ship with a strange crew, and where is my sister?

I don't know where you are, do you see any landmarks? And I'm from a world not unlike this one, Earth, though I think it might not be this exact one.

I don't know where your sister is. I can keep my eyes open for her? My husband and I investigate things.

I see ... oh, this is 荒谬. The Great Wall of China?

... This really is the past. I'm five hundred years at least back in ancient history. Earth doesn't exist in my time anymore! My sister needs me, I can't be stuck here.

You're in China? Well, it looks like you speak Chinese, that's convenient.

Maybe she'll follow you. I followed my brother.

I suppose it is, actually, convenient. I have some kind of ID card clipped to my lapel. ... Even more convenient, I'm a doctor, which is what I really am.

I told the girl who spoke to me previously, my name is Simon. Um. In my ... time, I suppose. Everyone speaks English and Mandarin. The last powers standing were the United States of America and the People's Republic of China.
