Last night she called me because she was scared. She said he went in the basement and told her she wasn't allowed to bother him, and was down there for hours. She was scared and alone, and didn't know what else to do. She was too afraid to even knock on the door to get his attention. She's Riley's age.
When I offer to babysit anytime he needs, he tells me to back off, and that she isn't allowed to call me anymore.
She told me she trusts me more than she trusts her dad right now, and she's only known me two days. There's something really fucking wrong with that.
