So, I have a date on Friday, and I need to go shopping for clothes. I've got some clothes already, but I just got here and need to rebuild a wardrobe.

THIS MEANS I NEED FEMALE FRIENDS. Or guys that know clothes. Anybody want to come with? I'll buy lunch!

Please? I hate having no girlfriends here, and my brother knows about clothes what I know about nuclear physics.

I uh... did fashion for a while. It was pretty brutal, actually.

Really? I was a model for a little while. ... like a day.

Yeah, me and the ladies were all fashion designers for a couple of months but that got boring and brutal and the only one of us who fit into our clothes right was Tori. God, I hate her for that.

So what are you looking for?

I'm always kind of on the skinny side. My whole family has high metabolisms.

Something good for a first date when you've already admitted you have a crush on the guy.

Huh, okay. Yeah, I was talking about style-wise, but whatever, I can stand to have a few more girl friends to go shopping with. Tori and Chickles aren't here and they're the only ones I really liked going shopping with, and I don't like dragging Nathan around places because he hates it.

I've never met a guy who really liked clothes shopping. I'm Candace, it's nice to meet you. I appreciate your help.

Style wise? I'm pretty casual, but I kind of want to give him a heart attack.

Natalie, nice to meet you or something.

Oh, I know where to go for that. There's a nice little store in Italy that I always go to if I want some drop-dead gorgeous clothes for the stage, or to just look too damn hot for words. [address] Actually, they've probably got their summer line fully stocked by now. I should go there.

I hope they're prepared for the hurricane that's about to hit!

I'm not really a fashionista or anything, and my fashion sense is probably a little out-of-date, but I can at least do the "that doesn't look quite right"/"that looks sexy, go for it!" thing.

Where are you gonna go shopping?

I have no idea yet. I figured I'd just go to a mall area and wander around. I've got a bunch of clothes I got yesterday, but there's always room for more!

Well, if you're looking for something funky and/or VERY fashionista, I say shopping in NYC. 5th Ave's got your expected couture and swank, and Alphabet City and Greenwich have (or had, anyway) a really good selection of quirky, offbeat shops and thrift stores to find something a little less mainstream for a LOT less flow.

If you're still looking for the fabled 'guy who likes clothes' I'd be more than happy to offer my services,e and it looks like you may already be going to my tailor.

Rob Fellows, at your service.

We're few and far between, but we do exist, yes.

When are we having this shindig?

It's a pleasure to meet you, and I'll just have to check with the wife (who is always amused when I call her by title) see if she'd like to come along or would rather have the house to herself for an hour or two.
