For the last nights, the number of which I've not the faintest, I've closeted myself with the Pseudomonarchia Demonium and other similar books, as well as with my Key of Solomon, and I do believe at long last I might have found what I seek.

I still have no way to extract a single soul from Hell, though I refuse to believe that a Harrowing is out of the question. The Christ was but a man, after all ... but the important thing, my friends, my dear friends, is that I located the incantations with which to summon a demon of high rank, and to keep him pinioned. It is not unlike a devil's trap, but constructed of far more ancient magic, magic divined before any of the Moslem astrologers, even the Grecian astrologers, knew anything of the arts.

Maybe, finally, I can pin down this bastard and extract my knowledge. Perhaps I can make him suffer as he's tortured me, to make him beg to no longer exist. But I cannot do it alone.
