They've finally done their last x-rays of my bloody stupid hip and are planning on releasing me on Friday, after I basically yelled at them to stop and let me go the hell home. They're weaning me off the pain killers, and putting me on other ones that don't require a needle up my forearm. They've been assured that I'll be getting the best medical care outside the hospital, and I assure you as well, yeah, that's the case.
And for those of you wondering, yes, I'll be being healed. I won't allow myself to be back to 100 percent though, because that's simply unfair. Why do I get preferential treatment when hundreds of thousands of people each year get into auto accidents and die, or lose the use of their legs, or become quadriplegics? These people deserve use of their bodies, as well. They have dreams to be able again. And I'm not going to let this sit well with me, simply because my family has some excellent healers within it.
Anyway, I want to thank absolutely everybody for the gifts and... giant mountain of food, and just for coming by and keeping me company. Don't let what I said while on the good drugs count, unless I said it should. I am sure I said some pretty embarrassing things.
