Teague, I am so, so sorry for what you are going through. Not just with your son, but with your brother, and all of your family.
I would say on his behalf... please don't disown him. I don't think he could take that. I don't think he deserves that. He's not an easy person to deal with. He needs time and attention and understanding I don't expect you or anyone else to be prepared to give him. That's okay. He needs to have some discipline. He needs to know when people disapprove of him. He needs to find his feet and learn to cope on his own. But I don't think he could handle being disowned by you. He loves you in a way I can only look at and envy.
Teague, love, you may disregard all of that as you will. I don't really want to get involved. However, I would very much like for you to let me make you a cup of tea sometime, if you'll come over here. Apparently I give very good hugs, too.
