If there is anything any of you need -- anything -- please know that I am here for all of you. If there is anything I can provide -- money, resources, a cup of tea, anything -- just call me. My number is [phone number]. The home I own in London is at [address]. My home is open to anyone, and you are welcome to call or come here any time, day or night.

[Locked to personal friends and family members of Cass and Miniver, and residents of Mordhaus] Miniver is not staying here now. I sent him back to Mordhaus with strict instructions not to come back HERE until I call him.

My son will be born soon. Obviously, I will be unavailable during that process. Miniver and Sable will both be there. I know that both of them have caused some upset with others recently. I cannot speak for Miniver, but I do apologize for my daughter. She is an adult, but not by much, and I have spoken to her about her behavior. That said, I invite all of you to come and visit at whatever time you should wish to do so. Those of you whose phone numbers I have are part of a broadcast list and will receive notification when the time comes. If you want to be notified -- or want NOT to be -- please tell me. Feel free to come at any time -- both Miniver and Sable know the consequences if they cause any trouble to anyone around me. Don't worry about them being there.

I have no intentions of becoming involved in any affairs I am not invited into. I wish only for all of you to know that I am with you, to support and to help, as much as I can, regardless of anyone's issues with my daughter or with the father of my son. My love and well-wishes are with you all.

Marnie, you are an angel. I hope you know that. If YOU need anything, let me know. Brenda's whipping up jambalaya with the kids helping, so if you like that, we'll bring some over.

[Marnie:] I hope you know that as harsh as I was to my brother, I'm not sorry for it. He has been incredibly ass backwards about this whole mess. I love him despite that, and I love Sable like a daughter. Doesn't mean that they're not going to have to watch the way they talk around the boys, though. I've put my foot down on that. They will not be bringing up the last year's affairs, not around you at your giving birth, and not around me in my home.

And you? You're a good, good woman. Thanks for your offer of help. I would certainly LOVE to be notified when your son is born, I sincerely can't wait. You and your baby boy are a part of our family.

Teague, I know very little of what happened between him and you and anyone else, and I do not consider it to be any of my business.

I know that Miniver can be a crude, insensitive, self-absorbed, weaselly, fickle, bratty, spoiled bully. Speaking neutrally, if you or anyone else took action to put him in his place for that, I applaud you. He has never mistreated me, but I have seen him act that way to other people.

You must understand something I rarely discuss with anyone, Teague, which is that... I do love him. I do genuinely love him, with all my heart, as a wife would love a husband. However, I also know that he does not, and CANNOT, ever return that love. We are not as husband and wife to each other. I do not know him; I cannot speak for him; I cannot control him. I can TRY, but I do not think that is my obligation.

I thank you for your words, Teague. I am very, very happy to know that my son and I are still invited to be part of your family. If you will allow it, I would very much like to call you my brother, too, though I am not even your sister in law and never shall be. And I do truly thank you for treating my daughter as your daughter. I admit that I may have done her a disservice by never giving her a father figure to look up to. She is young and foolish and haughty and, for lack of a better word, stupid... but I believe she is a good girl at heart and I don't think she ever intended to hurt anyone.

Anyway... I also thank you for the offer of the jambalaya, but I'm not sure my stomach could take it right now. I'm in an odd Pregnant Lady swing. There's very little I can stomach right now.

Marnie, you're very much a sister to me already. You actually remind me of one of my older sisters that often kept us all in line, like ducks in a row. And I know you love him, sweetheart. I see it every time I see you look at him, every time you talk about him. You care for him very deeply and that's one of the many reasons I think you're an angel. Your daughter has a lot of you in her, she just needs to get herself calmed down to find it. She's strong and sweet and she doesn't just want to help, she needs to. She's very much everything you said to, but it's a part of her charm and a part of why she's like a daughter to me.

And I get that. I don't know how Brenda can stomach even the scent of it right now, since she's pregnant, too, but she is. Though if you do have something you can eat and want, I'll be happy to come over and whip it up for you.

Teague... you're such a joy, and such a saint to us all. I am honored to call you brother. But please, stop trying to give. You are a father who has just had to see a son suffer unimaginable pain. My dear little brother, you are wholly entitled to break right now. You are completely justified in hating anyone you like, including my daughter, who I know has probably earned at least a little annoyance, although I do not think she has ever done so intentionally.

I have a daughter, Teague, and I am about to have a son. I cannot imagine what it must be like to see your child so badly hurt. You are more deserving of a little pampering than I am right now. I am only doing something women have done since the beginning of time. It is far, far worse to have to watch your offspring suffer.

It's how I cope. If I can't help him, I want to help someone. And right now, all I can do is hope that Cass isn't a thickheaded idiot about things and LETS Sadako heal him. His hip was smashed to pieces, there's...

He won't be able to walk on that leg again if he doesn't let her. And that's really nothing I can do anything about. Either he'll decide he wants to be in severe pain and without the use of his leg ever again, or he'll call Sadako. I can't tell him to do or not do it. Knowing him, he'll probably push himself into trying to live like that, because he's stubborn as a bull.

but what I CAN do? Is help others who need it and will let me. And Marnie, you know how I feel about childbirth and how amazing it is. What you're doing soon is something nobody else has ever done. You're giving birth to my nephew.

Little brother... brother to my child's father... there comes a time in the lives of all our children where we have to let them go and accept them as who they are with the lives they want to lead.

It hurts. It hurts desperately, and with a pain that never really goes away. You are a good man for being so willing to accept your son's decision. I know it is not easy to even think about what he might choose, to think that he might choose something that you have tried to shield him from. But you love him, Teague, and that is the most important thing. That is what you can do. Love him. Listen to him. Accept his decisions. Explain your disagreement when you must, but know that he will choose what he will choose and it will not be an act against you... it is who he is. Know him and love him for that, little brother. Our children are always stronger than we give them credit for.

You will come and see your nephew born. If you want to. Please come, Teague. I would love to have you there, and I think your brother would benefit from it, too. Don't come as the support group. Just come as you are.

He brought up Sable and that whole big shitting topic again, and I've had enough of it. There's a time and a place and that was six damn months ago, when it mattered. I told him to give back the key to the kids' house that he had, and that if he brought up Sable or any of that shit to the boys again, that I'll disown him.

I meant it. I still do. I'm sick of this coming in the way of my sons' happiness, and coming between Sable and hers. I'm sick of hearing about it, I'm sick of dwelling on it, and I'm not letting it into my house or into my life again. We're moving on.

Teague, I am so, so sorry for what you are going through. Not just with your son, but with your brother, and all of your family.

I would say on his behalf... please don't disown him. I don't think he could take that. I don't think he deserves that. He's not an easy person to deal with. He needs time and attention and understanding I don't expect you or anyone else to be prepared to give him. That's okay. He needs to have some discipline. He needs to know when people disapprove of him. He needs to find his feet and learn to cope on his own. But I don't think he could handle being disowned by you. He loves you in a way I can only look at and envy.

Teague, love, you may disregard all of that as you will. I don't really want to get involved. However, I would very much like for you to let me make you a cup of tea sometime, if you'll come over here. Apparently I give very good hugs, too.

I don't want to, but dammit, Marnie, he's broken my son emotionally for the past few months, has done nothing but perpetuate drama in this family, and has no kind words to say about anybody but his husband. I'm sick of it. I'm sick of him treating everyone like they're all against him. I just don't know how much more of that shit I can take. I love him very, very much. I always wanted a big brother, someone who was as kind and quiet and loving as I was, someone who understood, but I'm progressively finding that that's just a facade for him to hide all the bitterness and hate he's got for the world.

I really would appreciate that, if you're still okay with it in an hour or so. I have to make sure Cass is resting well, get things settled at the reception desk and make sure his bills are all paid up front, but as soon as I'm done with that, I'll be coming over and making you something that'll agree with your stomach... and you can make me tea.

Do that, then. Take as much time as you need. We'll talk more when you get here, if you feel like talking. I know Miniver to a degree. I can try to explain a little about him, if you want. I believe that his behavior recently may be symptomatic of deeper problems. He's never really been like this before. But I'm also doing a lot of guessing.

Anyway, yes, please come. I have some excellent tea I think you will like a lot.
