Might as well let you all know, since I don't know who all's befriended him, thus cannot lock to specific parties...

Cassidy's in the hospital. He got hit by a car while on a walk. He's got a broken hipbone, some damage to his femur and lower back, and a nasty concussion. They did what they could to repair his hip, but it's unlikely that he'll be upwardly mobile any time in the near future.

Visiting hours for [Hospital] are [times], but when he's not knocked out from the IV, he'll be checking the thread, probably.

For those of you who got him this down in the first place, I've only one thing to say to you.
Shame on you.

	We're managing. Brenda and I have been cooking up a storm over here, and he's probably not going to need even a quarter of the food we've made. You can come claim some baking or something. It's okay, Lilo and Cassie would eat me alive if they couldn't see big Cass in the hospital, they're morbidly curious about how bad it is. I love my weird little chimps, I do. thanks uncle Dean. you know it's kind of weird? I only just now realize I could have died, and that reminded me of something grandpa Bill once said. He said that all Turners die young, right? I really think something changed that. That this could have been that time, but wasn't.

I locked this because I don't want anyone else to know that's something that crossed my mind. You get it, though, because you've had some weird ass close calls, yourself.

I used to say I always wanted to die young and pretty, but after having a few of those close calls myownself, being sick sucks and I'd much rather take a nap.

Yeah, well, the Turners generally don't have a choice in the matter. Me and Dad and my brother are going to pull through it, though, because we're more thickheaded than any other dead Turner could be. No offense to Grandpas Bill & Will.

Yeah, synthetic morphine. Shit rules. But I'm thinking about having the healerlady show up to patch me up once I'm out of the hospital. I am NOT going to be a wheelie gimp, that would just suck out loud.

Good to hear it. Don't worry about the doctors so much, I think Cass is planning on getting a visit with our family healer, she'll likely patch him up as much as he allows. She's um... for lack of a better term, she's magical. She can fix anything.

And feel free to help yourself to the food that's been piling up over there. Our family shows our love with cooking and baking, so um. There's a lot.
