Apparently, I replaced a local conspiracy theorist. Sheva would find this hilarious.

At least it means I've got information. It's better than what I'm used to.

Hey, you look like a guy I know who's also kind of a conspiracy theorist.

Except that it's not theory, it's fact. But Conspiracy Factist doesn't sound the same.

That Winchester guy, right? I already got asked if I was him a couple of times.

Call him a conspiracy investigator, then. It sounds a bit better, and less insane.

That's the one, and I usually just call him 'pookie', but that's just me.

Hi, I'm Che, how are you settling in?

Pookie? Cute.

I'm Chris Redfield. I'm settling in pretty good - got a bit startled when I ended up here and almost shot a guy, but that's all that's gone wrong.

Well that's not bad, I think people around here are probably kind of used to that sort of thing, but I don't know for sure.

I didn't nearly injure anybody but myself when I first got here, it was kind of like the little mermaid, just with more swearing.

I guess a lot of people are kinda jumpy when they end up here. Especially if they get dragged out at a bad time.

I'm gonna assume that means you weren't always in that body. What were you before that vortex had its way with you?

Chevy Impala, '67. Black and chrome.

Traded headlights for headlights if you know what I mean, and I think you do.

I always had a soft spot for that type of car. Mostly 'cause they were one of the few things that worked in Raccoon City.

And ma'am, I'm a man who appreciates that sort of headlights. They make the world a better place.

Raccoon City? Is this some sort of Cadillacs & Dinosaurs kind of thing?

I've always thought so too.

Can't say I've ever heard of that. Raccoon City was a place built by the Umbrella Corporation for its employees, ended up becoming a biohazard. Not much ever worked once you got inside.

It's a cartoon, might have been a comic at some point, I don't even know, it was on late night TV a while back. And that just sounds ... kind of apocalyptic, actually.

Weird subject for a cartoon, I've gotta say.

It would've been, if the STARS unit hadn't contained it. Most of the hazardous things got taken out with the city.

Yeah, it was, took place in the future, and I'm still not sure how the dinos came in, but it was fun, anyway.

Sounds kind of like the plot for a bad B movie. Well, no, that'd be if some got out.

My life is a bad B movie, complete with people saying the weirdest things. Before I ended up here, I was going after an infection in Africa... and some of the same things ended up somewhere in rural Spain a couple of years back.

Ouch. Sounds about the same as what my boys do, only more of a specialist version of it.

Well, what they did, not much use for it here what with all the deities and superheroes and stuff around.

Hey, you want to grab lunch sometime?

Every world has biohazards. The one I come from was just a lot more fond of them.

Lunch sounds good. I need an excuse to get out of the house and look around a bit.

I should probably stop being so much of a homebody myself. Are you in London or elsewhere?

Yeah, I'm in London. I'm pretty near to Victoria station, if that helps any.

Nice, I've got an auto shop on the outskirts of the city proper [address], you're closer to where the good food is though.
