To whom it may concern, regarding the petition for changing the school's application for approval:

I don't have any abilities but it's not what you can or can't do that's the point. Being treated like you're super special for your abilities is just as bad as being treated like crap for it. It's being treated like equals that's the best.

Segregating the people with abilities, powers, magic, and physical differences from those of us without (And just because I don't have them now doesn't mean I won't later - big me has dreams of the future!) makes us feel like lesser people in the long run.

Creating a division in the education system like this wouldn't be conducive, it would only cause even more issue in the long run, giving us young people reason to think that it's MEANT to be this way - people with powers and people without not coexisting.

If it weren't for my best friend - a very good mage for only being nine years old, Sor Skwigelf - I wouldn't have been able to write this. He helped me with it a lot, and I help him with his math. And that's how things should be. I like this school, I like the people in this school. I think that anyone who has an ounce of intelligence wouldn't pick fights with someone based only on what they can or can't do.

We should plead with the staff of this school to look into these incidents and punish the people responsible for the bullying and harassment. Kicking an entire group of people out would not only put a whole LOT of us out of a school we love, but it wouldn't solve anything. Since this is a place of learning, what would we learn from segregating those with abilities from those without?

I will not sign this petition, and I speak only for myself, even though I'm on the student council for grade 5. Equality in all things, including education.

The school I used to go to in my old world was just for mutants. It wasn't perfect, but there were reasons for it to be that way. There were people that wanted to attack us. And a while back, some of them were here. The Purifiers. They tried to get to the school.

Back when Headmaster Dumbledore and Headmistress Frost were here, they could keep everybody safe. But now... I don't really know. Maybe they do need to re-examine things, for everybody's safety. If something happened and the school did come under attack, it would be better if the students had a fighting chance.

I don't know either way. But I think that maybe people should think about it..

I'm sorry. Mom and dad told me about those guys, the Purifiers. They said that they were after everybody with powers, even the gods and goddesses. They said big-me saved one of the goddess ladies, and if I ever do something as scary and heroic as that, their hair will turn white. Purifiers sound real scary.

But this world isn't your world and it isn't a world where that sort of thing should matter. We all live here now, and it doesn't matter what you can or can't do, it's what you DO with what you're given. People who bully others for their differences are the problem here, and if I'm kicked out of a school I like, just 'cause I don't have powers, it's... well it's just like being bullied. Treating someone different and giving them different rights than anyone else will never solve anything.

The only way it'll ever get to be that way is to give it a chance to get there. Separating anybody from anybody else would only make it more like your old world, and give us kids a reason to think that's how it's supposed to be. Us versus them. No matter who 'us' is, or 'them'.

In my opinion, the only us and them there are are bad people and good people. You can't punish good people for what bad people do. It's not right.

To those who want the "normal" people out:

What about those of us who are students who want to learn how to adapt better? We need to know how to coexist with people who have powers who want to use them. I don't have any powers, but I'm glad to be around people who do sometimes.

We need to try to understand you, but as I told someone recently, you need to try and understand us, too, and if you can't be bothered, then screw you.

	Coming from a kid who's been picked on by people without powers, or whatever, I think it's a bad idea to split the school. When I was at a school with people just like me I was picked on more than I was here. And some of the most supportive friend I've had have been 'normal'. Tell me when you get the petition to not split the school and I'll sign it. (Reply to this)
