Upon this fair autumnal day, the 12th of October in the year of our Lord only knows what's going on here, I, Riordan Byrne, have become the first man in the world to travel from Dublin to London by waterspout. To commemorate this most unique and important occasion, directly and beginning at the soonest possible opportunity, I shall be imbibing that blessed amber liquid until the world makes sense again, or I have died of it.

Such a journey must have taken months -- indeed, years -- to orchestrate with such flawless success. Allow me to submit my appreciation. Please don't think me ungrateful, but I wonder if the great men, women, or other beings responsible might consider lending me cab fare to get home again?
