I'd love to do this again. Marnie's right here with me and she says she'll do it, too.
It's been a long damn time since I did anything like that, of course, but one thing I do remember is that the best thing we ever decided to do was have more than one group leader and kind of switch off who'd do it from week to week even when we were both there.
I'll volunteer to lead by myself or with someone else as often as is needed. Marnie says she will, too. I'd suggest recruiting someone to be an occasional group leader who isn't part of our family at all, especially since I think you're right, our kids all need it, and they don't need any more advice or intrusion from parents and siblings and other relations.

Any idea where you want to hold it? I'd say Sable's shop, but she already has her own sort of group spirit over there and I think it'd probably be better to have it somewhere else...
